Age & Workshop Levels

Accepted Answer

Age placement is determined by the dancers age on January 1st.A change in workshop level may be requested by Studio Directors & Teachers Only! When level changes occur dancer must audition in the new room.
Directors/Teachers may decide to place dancer by age or ability.

Question 2

Independents

Accepted Answer

NRG danceProject accepts independents for workshops, but they must register as Independent – Jane Smith (ex.) Please see competition Rules & Regulations for Independent eligibility.Independent dancers are not eligible for Scholarships
*Independents are defined as dancers who do not attend a studio. If you attend a studio your studio must register you to be Scholarship eligible.

Question 3

Observers

Accepted Answer

Observer Bands will be available for purchase on site in select cities, when capacity allows.
Observers must remain respectful of class etiquette and protocol at all times. No talking or class interruptions.
Only paid observers with an observer band may observe class.

Question 4

Registration

Accepted Answer

Only Online pre-registration is accepted. At the door registration may be available if capacity allows.
All registration must be completed 30 days prior to the event. Registration is based on first come first serve basis, as cities do sell out.
Early Rates apply to all registrations 30 days prior to the event. If fees are not paid in full 30 days prior, early rates will not be applied. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Question 5

Refunds & Credits

Accepted Answer

No refunds on workshop/competition fees. 
Credits for future use may be issued for emergency injury/illness when accompanied by a doctor's note. Credits will belong to the studio and may be used only by the studio account.

Scholarships

Accepted Answer

Prodigies and scholarship winners must pre-register online. 
All scholarships must be applied prior to checkout. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Question 7

Permission & Waivers

Accepted Answer

Attendees give permission to NRG danceProject to use all photos and videos taken during the event, to be used for advertising and publicity.Waivers must be signed by parent or guardian before participation please select waiver button on home page.

Question 8

Security & Safety

Accepted Answer

NRG danceProject, the facilities and the host hotel are not responsible for any lost personal items or injuries. All Participants must sign liability waiver and participate at their own risk.
If a participant of NRG is in need of first aid, please see an NRG Staff member at the registration/merchandise booth. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
Please make sure all personal items are against the perimeter of the ballroom at all times. Please do not place personal items on the chairs.
Door monitors will monitor each ballroom during workshop classes. Proper wrist bands/credentials are required to enter ballrooms during classes.
